Jeremiah Watt: Saddle Maker and Blogger
Jeremiah Watt is one of the top western saddle makers working today. His saddle and silver work is truly amazing. And it turns out that Jeremiah is a bit of a computer geek, too. He's the only saddle maker that I know of that has his own blog.
The Jeremiah Watt Blog is hosted on the Western Folk Life Center site. Jeremiah posts about once a week, sharing his thoughts on his work with extensive photos and narration of his process. It's like watching over the shoulder of a master. Very cool.

Hello,
I was wondering if you knew where you could buy a saddle fitting stand? I see many saddle racks, but I saw once in a tack shop a saddle stand that had a black neoprene top shaped like a horses back. Thank you, Justin
Justin,
That's something I've never seen but would really like to. I'd be curious as to how it works. How would you know that the shape of the form matches your horse's shape?
I have seen horse shapes in saddle shops that are used to better display a saddle, but they weren't for fit purposes.
