Coveting a Custom Saddle

A friend called me the other day and he was just bubbling. He had just received the custom saddle that he had ordered several years ago, and it was worth the wait. I listened as he went through every feature, describing why each piece was so well crafted and beautiful. He was in love. He was that happy and he hadn't even ridden in the saddle yet!

And you know what? I was sooooo jealous. I understood completely his enthusiasm. There just isn't anything like finally receiving the saddle that's been created just for you by a skilled saddle maker that you've waited so long for. For some ladies, diamonds are what they covet. For this lady, it's definitely my own custom saddle. I hope to experience that joy early next year.
