This week we've found a nice older Longhorn trail saddle with plenty of miles left in it. It could be a nice all-around saddle for a youth or small adult.

These older Longhorn saddles are similar to the older Simco that I'm so fond of. They're not real fancy, but they're well-built and a nice ride.

This week's saddle has a 14inch suede seat and a 7inch gullet, with handsome floral carving. The fleece is in nice shape and the leather is supple.

There's some bidding on this saddle, but it still is in the "bargain" range at $227.
