Scratching That Itch: Itching Post

I have to share my new favorite horse gadget. It’s called the Itchin Post and my horses LOVE them!

The Itchin Posts are molded rubber panels with raised conical points that provide a surface for horses (and other animals) to scratch those itches.

They can be easily attached to any secured pole or flat surface with standard screws and washers. Each panel measures approximately 23 by 15 inches and come in yellow, blue or black.

Itchin PostSo, instead of your horse tearing up their skin and your fences and structures trying to get to just the right spot, the itchin posts provide a safe and effective scratching surface. I’m anticipating that shedding season will see particularly heavy use.

Make sure to check out the video on the site of the happy horse getting a scratch.
