The "Used Saddle Pick of the Week"
Every week we scour the Internet searching for a particularly juicy bargain on a high quality used western saddle and feature it here on the WSG Saddle Blog. The saddles featured are listed for sale on ebay as of the date of the post.
The Western Saddle Guide is not the seller of the saddles featured and does not make any representations about them. We encourage all potential buyers to do their own due diligence on the seller and the saddle before purchasing.
This week we have a saddle from another great brand – Martin Saddlery. Martin is very popular among the professional and competitive crowd, but they make a great saddle for any rider. The saddle this week is a 16 inch roping saddle with plenty of flash – oak and acorn tooling over the entire saddle with a suede seat and silver-laced cantle binding. The gullet measures 6 3/4" and it’s double rigged.
There’s a lot of bidding action on this saddle – 14 bids with six days still left on the auction but the price is still at only $610 as of this writing. If you’re looking for a quality roping saddle at an affordable price, you’ll want to check this one out.
