Troxel Introducing a Cowboy Hat Riding Helmet

Troxel, the best riding helmet manufacturer out there, is introducing a new helmet in April for the western crowd. The Western Hat Helmet is a real western felt cowboy hat that fits over a low profile helmet. Yet it only weights 14.6 ounces.

There is a huge demand for this type of helmet. There have been previous attempts by other manufacturers, but this is the first model to receive ASTM/SEI certification as an equestrian helmet.

The cowboy hat portion is black and made from 2X wool felt with a 4 inch shapeable brim. The helmet is available in hat sizes 6 1/2 to 7 1/8 and features Troxel’s advanced fit technologies that allows for individual adjustments for a comfortable and secure fit. The retail price is $119.95.

I haven’t yet had a chance to try it out, but any product from Troxel is worth checking out.
