What’s It Worth?

"Western Horseman" magazine has a fascinating feature in every issue called "What’s it Worth?" where experts weigh in on the value of subscribers’ western relics, mainly saddles. In addition to getting opinions on particular pieces, you’ll also get some great general information on what makes a vintage saddle valuable.

Western Horseman is always looking for items to appraise, so if you’d like to submit your saddle for review, here’s the instructions:

Send high quality photographs (at least 300 dpi) of your saddle taken outside from all different angles so they can get a good look at the condition and markings. Include any information you have on the saddle including how you acquired it, how much your paid, and any markings. Email your submission to jennifer.denison@westernhorseman.com.
