Not only horses can find trouble anywhere and everywhere, but their four legged counterpart, namely the donkey, can as well...if not more so.
One day as I was preparing dinner, I happened to glance out the porch door towards our small pasture. Thinking I would see the horses lazily grazing in the newly yet sparse pasture, I was surprised to see our donkey Coco standing there, gazing towards the house. What was strange about that you ask? Well….he had a huge green plastic rain barrel around his head!
Seems he had found the bottomless barrel standing against the barn wall and just had to stick his head into it. Not realizing that the top was somewhat too narrow for him to pull his head out with such big ears, he lifted up his head with the barrel securely in place. Obviously he couldn't get that big green thing off himself, so he stood quietly until someone, anyone, from the house would take notice!!! What a character! I even have pictures of him with the barrel on in case nobody believed me!
