Flat Creek Saddle Shop

Many of you who don't live in areas with a lot of western riders may have never experienced a REAL western saddle shop. I may be a bit biased, but I think you'll be hard-pressed to find a real, high caliber western saddle shop outside of the American west. If you ever do make it out here, make sure to search out the saddle shops to see what you're missing.

My favoritie shop is Flat Creek Saddle Shop in Jackson, WY. Now, while Jackson (more famously known as Jackson Hole) is a high-faluting, trendy spot, Flat Creek is the real deal.

Flat Creek has a HUGE selection of quality western saddles - they don't carry junk. You'll be hard pressed to find a new saddle for under $1000 in their shop. But these aren't fancy show saddles or vanity saddles, these are real, honest-to-goodness quality using saddles.

They also usually have a nice selection of used saddles. You'll find some great brands for reasonable prices, and you can be assured that the saddles are in good shape, because, as I said earlier, Flat Creek doesn't sell junk.

If you make it out this way, make sure you put Flat Creek on your list of places to visit. Then you can say you've experienced a REAL western saddle shop.
