How To Unsaddle a Horse

Giving advice on unsaddling a horse may seem silly to some. I mean, how hard is it to figure out how to take the saddle off, right?

Well, while it's pretty easy to get a saddle off a horse, it's also pretty easy to do it in a way that irritates your horse.

I don't know about you, but I want my horse to be a willing partner. To foster and sustain that willing nature in your horse, you really need to develop savvy and considerate techniques for working with your horse. Just grabbing the horn and yanking your saddle off, isn't going to make your horse enjoy his time with you.
